Why did your female voices come off the best here? xD Your deep voice(s) weren't all that deep, but nice accents. From this it sounds (no pun intended) like your range is mid to high but definately not bassy low.

Side note cause I know this will be mentioned at some point: I got LittleKuriboh and Egoraptor from two of your takes. Just listen to them and you'll know which I mean.

The old man impression was the best out of them all but very common with the raspy intake. Another way to go about it would be trying to go high pitched and get your voice to crack to appear fragile.

Skipping the second impression cause I really don't know what can help there.

Warrior could be a deeper, stronger voice to give it greater presence. You instead fell back to hollowing it out for an injured take I suppose? For your next go give it a BIG BOOMING HOWL (!) just think what would the Dohvakiin do?

"Beat"boxing at the end....way too much air into the mic just scrap that idea to be honest.

chris-the-stick responds:

i see. yes, the old man was successful, i could try improving the other voices too.
as for the warrior, i tried to make my impression to look hurt, and/or tired, in order to make it accurate.

uhh, yes, too much air in the mic, that's true. but was my beatbox that bad?

thanks for your review man, it was helpful.

Your accents alone are hilarious! xD

*Nerd mode activated at the very end: Mewtwo's voice didn't sound as deep as it should of been, close though.

Jokes were alright, but very hard to hear at some points. However, you'll be pleased to know it did make me smile at the very end.

Precisely as MetalRenard put it, your layers aren't in sync here. The individual sounds would probably blend wonderfully if the timing was accurate.

Not bad for a first song and no experience. Don't give up!

Adding the cello and high pitches (musicbox or just a synth?) really complimented the core melody. Beautifully done, so much feeling put into this piece. Love how this is put under rpg cause it's fits so perfectly!

Mattashi responds:

Thank you Amisc! Actually it's a Celesta and a glock :) (sounds allot like a musicbox)

Whenever more games are made from the series, this music must be included!

Light's laugh xD nice touch also love the synth effect added to the main melody line at the loop.

Not truly needed but just thought of a a neat tag to the fadeout and pause, "I am L".

I actually recall one of my buds who was a boyscout singing this 0_0 now that I hear it again all I can picture is Fleet Street in the background xD

Echnaret responds:

Hah, that is indeed where the song came from. ;-)

This reminds of so many games I've played years ago all mashed into one. Can't quite describe it other than nostalgic.

Obtained my BFA in Recording Arts/Audio Production. Always up for more experience in this vast part of the entertainment industry. Quite the nerdy, tomboy, gamer chick. Can't think of other things to type...
